Yes. It’s really indisputable if you listen to his show, paying any attention at all. You can read more about this here, but the short version of a simple explanation is that Alex covers stories differently depending on the races of the people involved. Beyond that, he also just disseminates classic white supremacist talking points, and hangs out with extreme racists, but you can learn more about that in the link above.

It’s incredibly rare, but there are instances where Alex has been right about stuff. Some of that certainly comes down to luck, and how if you make 1000 predictions, you’re probably going to get one right, but very often he says something vague, then applies that vague proclamation to a future event, and pretends he called it. In the course of his career, it’s comical how much more he’s been completely off the target about.

His ideas are often meaningless, or if they have some substance, he’s just one of many people saying similar things. For instance, he was opposed to the Iraq war, which is great, but so were many voices in the media, mostly left-leaning folks like Terry Gross. Also, he wasn’t really consistently opposed to the Iraq war, but that’s a larger issue for another page.

There are corrupt people in government? Sure. Big corporations have an incentive to invade our privacy to make selling us things easier? Sure. Technological and scientific advancements create new ethical dilemmas that we need to face head-on and navigate innovation while retaining respect for individual rights? Sure.

He’s been right about all of those things if you are really generous about his positions, but if you take the actual words he says seriously, he’s pretty constantly wrong, even about these things he’s conceptually right about. And again, everything you could argue Alex has been right about is something someone a little more serious and little less bigoted is covering less entertainingly, but more competently.

I can find literally zero evidence this is true. He definitely was ranting vague fears about demonic pedophiles years before the Satanic Panic of the 2020’s, but that was just stuff that he was holding onto from the Satanic Panic of the 1980’s.
